Today, I went to Matthaei Botanical Gardens to help (not buy, of course) with the Michigan Cactus and Succulent Show and Sale. This is an annual sale and the Southeast Michigan Bromeliad Society has a sale at the same time. I had never attended before, as I was always working. It was fabulous and still going on tomorrow. If you are close, it is well worth going. When you go to society sales, many unusual plants can be found that can’t be found anywhere else. If you live near SE Michigan, get to Matthaei tomorrow and see the plants and maybe purchase some. If you don’t, find a show or sale near you and go. You won’t be sorry you did, but your pocketbook might…..
Do you have plants that you are thankful for? I do. Read about the ones I am most thankful for, including a fern, and many blooming plants.
