Succulent Walls and Whimsy at Cultivate 15′

by | Jul 16, 2015 | 0 comments

I attended a garden center industry trade show in Columbus and I was amazed at the amount of succulents used at the show. Every year their are more and more. We are crazy for succulents!

These walls have echeveria, graptopetalum, crassulas, kalanchoes, senecio, aoenium, and aloes. I just love all the colors and shapes that succulents offer. I use this hashtag a lot: #whoneedsflowers.

There were also a ton of succulents used in topiary frames, as well.

The topiary forms are from a grower right here in Michigan. Go Michigan! Who would have thought such great succulents could grow this well in such a cold state? I always feel jealous of the succulents in California, but these aren’t bad.

Check your local independent garden center and see if you can find some great succulents for your garden.
